Women in Golf: Redlac Real Estate Featured in L’Express

Redlac Real Estate is proud to be featured in L’Express Sport for its commitment to encouraging greater participation of women in golf through the “Women in Golf – Leading On and Off the Course” initiative.
The feature highlights the first golf initiation session held at Tamarina Golf Club on 22 August 2026, bringing together 20 women for an opportunity to discover the sport in a welcoming and supportive environment.
A First Step Onto the Golf Course
Organised in collaboration with the Mauritius Golf Federation (MGF), the initiative introduced participants to the fundamentals of golf while creating an enjoyable space for women to experience the game.
For many participants, the session represented their first opportunity to pick up a club, learn the basics and step onto a golf course. From learning how to hold a club and make their first swings to experiencing the feeling of hitting the ball, the morning was centred around discovery and participation.
Learning Beyond the Basics
With guidance from coaches Deenesh and Atish, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of the game while gradually becoming more comfortable on the course.
The experience also demonstrated that golf can be approachable and enjoyable for newcomers, regardless of their previous sporting experience. More importantly, it created an environment where participants could learn without pressure and discover the game at their own pace.
Supporting the Growth of Women’s Golf
The initiative forms part of the wider efforts of the Mauritius Golf Federation to encourage greater participation in golf, particularly among women and young players.
As highlighted in the L’Express feature, the MGF continues to work with partners and golf stakeholders to create more opportunities for people to discover and engage with the sport.
A Collaborative Approach to Inclusion
The session also brought together different organisations and individuals working towards a common objective creating more opportunities for women to experience golf.
The collaboration between Redlac Real Estate and Mauritius Golf Federation, helped create a platform where participants could learn, connect and experience the game in an encouraging setting. A special appreciation to WAGC Mauritius, Ladies Golf Union (LGU), The R&A, The Talent Factory and Tamarina Golf Club.
Creating Space for More Women in Golf
For Redlac Real Estate, “Women in Golf – Leading On and Off the Course” reflects a broader commitment to creating meaningful opportunities and supporting initiatives that bring people together.
By creating a welcoming first experience, the programme aims to help more women feel comfortable discovering golf and potentially continuing their journey within the sport.
The Participants Share Their Experience
The L’Express feature also captured the perspectives of participants who attended the session.
Their feedback reflected the welcoming atmosphere of the initiative, with participants describing the experience as an opportunity to discover something new, meet others and gain a first-hand introduction to golf.
For some, the session sparked an interest in continuing to explore the sport beyond their first morning on the course.
Featured in L’Express
Being featured in L’Express Sport provides an opportunity to share the story of the initiative with a wider audience and highlight the importance of creating accessible pathways into golf.
The feature celebrates the women who took part, the coaches and partners who supported the session, and everyone contributing to the continued development of women’s participation in the sport.
The Journey Continues
The first session at Tamarina Golf Club is only the beginning. Redlac Real Estate remains committed to supporting initiatives that create opportunities for women to discover golf, build confidence and become part of the golfing community.
Creating space for more women in golf means creating more opportunities to learn, connect and lead — both on and off the course.
